Background...Came in with transfer case code. Pulled the module and found it water soaked, Had some corroded connectors and harness. Replaced the transfer case module, and one connector. Since that time, I have not been able to talk to any one on the PT-CAN.

I have scoped the CAN lines. I have disconnected every module connected to it, with no obvious change in the waveform. The waveform looks a bit funky, and with the gateway disconnected, I lose all voltage on both lines. I have now cut the lines at the gateway, and am getting an unexpected signal on the lines. I would like to tap into more some experienced guys to keep me on track.

3 things I notice, the CAN lines are not mirror images, but
each is doing its own thing. The square waves are not very
precise, and there are some slides, dips and other
anomalies. The gateway module is sending sawtooth spike on both lines, but they are not even synced to each other.
I welcome ideas on this car.

My thoughts would say that there is a fault in the gateway
module, but I am not certain what I should be seeing.
