At the end of the rainbow!

Did your Suby also turn on the Cruise Control light? I went round and round with one with a misfire, couldn't figure out why the CC light was staring at me.

How'd the EVAP leak code get fixed with the reprogram? Just curious.

Of course, they don't say what the reprogramming actually changes.

OEM1stop.com has links to many manufacturer's service info. It's all pay to play, but if you really need it, most of them offer 3 days access for $30-$40...cheryl hartkorn wrote: does anybody know where to get good Subaru service information? I was dealing with a p0456. the traction control light and red brake light flashing. it said no where that if the pcm has a code it turns those lights on. had to call my friend that works at the Subaru dealer. the p0456 was fixed by a reprogram. how does anybody do a smoke test on one of these? I put it in test mode and turned the drain valve on aka vent valve. it times out in 20 seconds or so. so it got frustrating had to pull the left rear wheel and fender liner to use a power probe to keep it closed to do the test

All data can be frustrating in that respect, I agree.cheryl hartkorn wrote: thanks for the link noah. but all data is also a paid service which lacks service information for lots of vehicles. they give labor times more than the repair procedure a lot of the times.... maybe the manufacturers don't release the information for them to publish idk
