Old Girl Mercedes 410D T1/TN was created by ed1808
Hey so here we go. I own a pre ODB compliant 1992 Mercedes 410D T1/TN engine model OM602.940 with a Bosch ABS system fitted ABS module number ABS Control unit Mercedes A 009-545-29-32 Bosch 0-265-105-022. It has a rolling ABS fault. the ABS light comes on with ignition as it should then goes out after a blip of the throttle along with alternator charging light. this is telling me that the ABS module is doing its hello i`m here test as it should. The Warning light comes back on only after i start to move at around 5 kmh. I`m unsure of the test procedure these units go though, i would have thought the module would ask for some feedback from ABS pump at a early stage of movement along with wheel sensor data.
When i first purchased the Truck (Hymer S700) i replaced the OVP relay as the older versions seemed to be giving the Mercedes community various random issues.
I have resistance checked all 4 Sensors which all seem to be within the acceptable range although O/S Rear reads lower than the rest.
O/S Front 1765 Ohms
N/S Front 1745 Ohms
O/S Rear 1683 Ohms ??
N/S Rear 1745 Ohms
All sensors were tested from the ABS Module plug backwards to sensors.
I have also tried another ABS Module from the same series and year of T1/TN (part numbers matched) this was purchased on Eflog with the usual oh yes it works guarantee  but received the same fault.
Just to add that i have no way to Jack this truck up in order to test the Reluctor rings and the rear ones are inside the brake drums. what i am hoping to achieve from this cry for help is to scope the sensors and rings whilst driving so at least i can either rule these out or be able to take this old girl to a mechanic in order for them to replace Reluctor ring or rings if needed. I have yet to find a old school garage here in my region of France that is not a parts swapper. I started to look for cheap scopes just for this one job plus maybe fault finding the ABS module PCB if needed although these modules seem fairly robust units. I ashamedly even looked at the mega cheap hand held scopes on AliExpress thinking i could use 4 of these units coupled into the ABS module plug so i could see data whilst driving to the end of my driveway. Any idea`s Appreciated.
Kind regards
Ed
**Edit** I guess this is not as easy as i thought it would be sadly. So second request is possible able to send me the ABS module schematic please.
Mercedes A 009-545-29-32 Bosch 0-265-105-022 module number. should be the same system as all the early Mercedes and BMW`s plus i have even found reference to the bosch kdas 0003 (ABS Test unit) on the Porsche and VW groups (VW test unit number is VAG 1710) with different patch cables one would assume. Once again any help appreciated. This test equipment although probable a quick diagnostic is now rare and very expensive.
