2008 Bmw e83 n47 fuel issues was created by deinonychus
Was called out to look at Bmw e83 with 4 cylinder n47 which was a non starter . Managed to get it started with starter fluid however at times no fuel going to injector 1 and 4 as I did cylinder drop test
The rail pressure sensor was changed as it was reading zero pressure before I got there was monitoring rail pressure before I got it started while cranking all I was getting was 7 to ten bar after it started the pressure returned to normal however vehicle was running terrible which influenced the cylinder drop test I did. Have concerns regarding high pressure pump , however it makes no sense to me that it would fuel cylinder 2 and 3 but not 1 and 4. Didn't have time to use scope but visual evidence points to no fuel going to cylinder 1 and 4 any advice would be appreciated. Going back to vehicle on Wednesday
