need a diagram of indash fusebox and exasctly what fuse goes where // working on a 1996 ford f 1504.9 l straight 6 300 cid any help would be greatly appreciated

am still needing help with this 1996 ford f 150 4.9 litre straight 6 300 cid/ i have a short somewhere in the nubber 10 fuse indadsh fuse it is the instrument illumination fuse which is completely dead and guages not 1 of the guages work and not sure if this is a pcm feed or a direct feed from the under hood relay im needing a in wiring diagramshowing where the power originates anbd what all it feeds im just a diyer can anyone please help me with this problem and thanks

Here's where I started the search:



Ended up in a power distribution diagram that looked like this:



I also jogged over to Instrument Panel Lamps:



That's what we want to know. :cheer:

So fuse 10 has no power to it at all? Then I'd head towards fuse 11 and check for power there. Seeing power on both sides of fuse 11 would suggest an open circuit between fuse 11 and the main light switch. If fuse 11 popped, then you'd be looking for a short on the yellow/black wire.

i tested the white and blue wire from the headlight switch to fuse 10 with the old switch and the wire was dead i replaced the switch with a new one and we have a confirmed fix thanks to you all for your assistance
