]Hi everyone work on a fleet of chev express and wanted some clarity on the 2016 chev express with 6 litre engine the positive battery bolts on side terminal of the battery and goes directly to the starter i do not see any type of circuit protection device at all no fuse or link that i can see . I checked the OE diagram. You are correct - there is no fuse on the main cable to the starter.
Why no circuit protection? Good question. :silly: With a few exceptions, it's been my experience that most starter main cables aren't fused. My Nissan and both Fords aren't.
Last vehicle I saw with a fused main starter cable was a Range Rover...
