Hello.i am having p0304 for a while know changed spark plugs and cables.Compresion test shows 178 psi to all 4 cylinders.i tried to test for the quility of the spark coming out from the coil pack with a test light and it seems the one for the 4th cylinder is maybe a little weaker and not inconsistent like the other 3 ( I have a video of the jumping sparks I don't know if I can post it here).will the ohm test on the pack help me at this point? I am asking any ideas before I go check the fuel injector
PO304 appears to be a specific cylinder misfire. Can you move the coil pack from 3 over to 4 and see if the code follows to that cylinder? That would be a quick and dirty way of figuring out whether it's a coil or not. If it stays then you can do the same thing with the spark plug. If it's neither of those then you are looking at power and ground for that injector/coil or it's the injector.
If you have a P0304, and you have questionable spark out of the #4 coil tower, then I'd say you're on the right track. You could try moving coils, but it's a huge pain. I can't see that anyone sells individual coils, anyway.
