Jeremy I saw this post and I have to agree with the reply's you got but with that being said this one is a little too familiar my first question is this one a fix yet? The reason why i ask is that I've seen this to be a mechanical failure in the head, more common cyl #2 & 3 intake valve seats come apart. first they crack and then scatter to the point I've seen the seats shatter in little pieces and get ingested in the intake and sucked into other cylinders.
If this issue is still fighting you I would honestly do a compression test and leak down test on all 4 cylinders. I know the car runs fine but has a rough idle. Its these vehicle's Ive seen first come in with a MAF related code and or system too Rich p0172 first and few months later vehicle come in on a hook when it was missed, so with that being said after watching this a few times from other techs and to include myself this is always a 1st suspected failure when I see this type of code with this make and model, it is a common issue I've seen from 80k to 180k on these 2.0L. good luck I hope this helps and that you've gotten this issue resolved.
