Hello there everyone. I just replaced the valve cover and gasket as one together OE and now have rough idle and stalling. Also crazy vacuum you can feel and hear when you remove oil fill cap. checked the vacuum lines and hoses and the connector on top of motor that is in middle of valve cover and heard air so i fixed that car ran great on 20 min test drive and no issues. sat outside for about 4hrs and when i went to start to bring in shop it stalled twice and then ran ok coming in shop. any ideas or run ins with this issue too? Thank You all so much and Merry Christmas!!!!

You can check the fuel trims at idle and held at like 2500 rpms to see if it's a vacuum leak, which is likely is because of the recent repair. I'd try using propane or spraying brake cleaner on suspected spots while watching stft for changes.

Does the intake have to come off for this job? Is there a hidden vacuum line you might have forgotten to put back in?
