Looking for some help. I have an 07 Elantra witch transmission has been replaced for a shifting issue. Used trans replaced and same problem occurring . I didnt drive the vehicle before the trans was replaced but the complaint is the same. Vehicle jerks between 1-2 and other gears. I though it might have been a tps issue. Thats what it feels like to me. I scoped the tps and watched while the issue was happening. Checked good. Ohm checked all shift solenoids. All checked good. I followed the component test on modis to do so. I did notice one thing im not sure of. The valve body connector has a pin described as a solenoid ground but with engine running it has battery voltage. Im not sure if that should be a constant ground.

Is there codes in any module? Also can you post a wiring diagram because that 12 volts on a ground is a bad ground

I dont have access to a wiring diagram at the moment. I went off of info on component testing on my modis snap on scan tool. Although it says solenoid ground im not sure if its supposed to be switch ground at some point or constant ground. But if it is supposed to be constant it most definitley is a bad ground. As far as codes. Absolutely none. Wich isnt giving me any direction. Im starting to wonder if the used trans is also no good. But im stumped on why there is no codes. Can clutches be worn and cause these symptoms with no codes? Not sure
