Hi all,
I'm wondering if my SJB is bad and if there is a test I can do to find out? I have several electrical issues but the following is leading me to wonder if the SJB is bad. It states that if the SJB is dropped, it can be damaged. My SJB was removed completely along with all wiring harnesses and then reinstalled in another truck. I know the SJB was dropped a few times along the way. I am only getting 3volts at my headlights. I tested the volts going into the SJB from the Battery Fuse box for the headlights and the SJB is getting 12volts. I then checked the volts coming out of the SJB for the low beams and it is only 3volts. Any recommendations before I spend $250 on a new SJB?

Don't drop the new one. :silly:

It looks pretty straight forward. If you have 12V going in, and 3V coming out, I would be comfortable replacing it.
Make sure that it is a good 12V going in, at the same time that 3V is coming out.
