Intermittent Flashing Check Engine Light at High Rpm merging on highway!
Hello there everyone. I got an 04 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT RWD 4.3L. 268,523 Miles. This is the second time the Check Engine Light has started Flashing when merging onto the high way at high rpms around 4000 rpm and Runs smooth and shifts good, after getting up to speed and rpms drop i notice the check engine light started flashing But I did NOT feel any miss firing and she running smooth and the light stops flashing it does not come back. Scanned codes and got a PO300 ( Random Multiple Miss Fire Detected (Intermittent).) and PO302 ( Cylinder 2 Miss fire Pending). checked Plugs and Cap and Rotor ( Changed little over a year ago) and everything looks good! truck drives great and runs smooth around town and i even tried to duplicate the problem on out trip home and laid into it and got it up to 4000 RPM again and not hesitations missing or check engine light. Im stumped being we are headed to the Mountains next week and i dont want to get stranded. Thank You all so much and wish everything a Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!!!!
