2007 GMC Acadia SLT surging was created by jerry r

Surging at idle and other RPMs, app sensor throttle body and fuel pump tested good, there is a strange signal on the maf unplugged it and it still is surging, the only codes it had was a misfire on the number one cylinder, up to 480 misfires on the counter intermittently, also intermittently it would run rich at idle. I'm lost on this one can anybody please help me with direction to go.

Have you gone after that cylinder 1 misfire at all? Swapped coils or anything like that? Is it running rich at idle in both banks when it happening? See if you can determine if it's single bank related looking at fuel trims on both sides.

Yes I swapped coils and I did it primary amperage test. But still running rich on Bank one

Did you check the injector of #1
It's GDI system and usually it is common blucked

Yes I did a injector balance test all the injectors had a same amount of fuel pressure drop

What’s fuel trims doing? What’s the coolant temperature sensor reading? CN you give us o2 sensor dat when it is running rich front and rear o2 on both banks

Okay I'll try blocking off the purge valve it makes sense I did take check to fuel tank pressure sensor data when I turned it off and turned it on and it changed

Usually that would cause both banks to be lean unless the canister is saturated. What are fuel trims at idle and held at 2500rpms? Same on both sides? WOT o2s stay rich with no dips at all? Does it seem to have full power?

I bl0cked the purge valve and the vacuum at the throttle body and let the fuel trims relearn the fuel trims improved a lot , I believe I found part of my problem.
