I recently bought a Ford F 250 2005 with 4.6 engine.
The problem is that a check engine light came on. I Scanned de truck
• And came width code P0405 Sensor circuit low. I was able to track it to the DPFE sensor. Put a new one and everything seems to be ok, but a couple days after it came with a new code P0401 insufficient flow detected. I went on to take out the throttle buddy and unclogs the EGR passages they were in very bad shape. Now 2 weeks later I have a new code P0409 Faulty EGR volume control solenoid valve. Went on and changed the EGR solenoid, but this time nothing happens light stay on. I check the wiring with a multimeter for EGR components everything looks ok. So, what’s I’m missing here? Also check vacuum lines ok
• Help please
Rodrick, I have a couple questions for ya. Are you sure you have an '05 F-250 with the 4.6L? Because I can't find that engine as an option for an F-250. What's the first 10 digits of the VIN?
Second, are you sure the code you're battling now is P0409? Did you mean P1409?
Do you have the ability to run a KOEO Self-Test? Or, does you scanner have bidirectional capability?
