99 Honda Civic AC repair was created by popoften
A buddy went to repair a schrader valve on one of his AC lines. Alas the valve stem broke in two when he was trying to remove it. See pic.

Any suggestions, guys on how to solve this problem?

Thx Pop

First take the line off. Looks like the spring loaded part of the schrader has dropped down into the pipe so it needs to be retrieved.

Small extractor, or careful drilling, might get what's left of the schrader out. Worst case I doubt a new line will be expensive.

Make sure you do as suggested and find the broken piece inside the line. Then order a new one on RockAuto. $30-40 and he'll be good to go. I tried to look it up but I'm guessing you have the year or model wrong as none of the lines I found looked like the ones in your pic.

Actually, I stand corrected. Looks like that particular line isn't available from RockAuto. You can get a new one from any of the online Honda dealers or pick up a used one on eBay.

I wouldn't try and repair it. It will likely leak after you waste a bunch of time on it.
