Ask and you shall receive! (I actually had a Ford to play with today, and remembered this request ;) )

Here's the signals while backprobing at the sensor ring. Tx is green, Rx is yellow. Cursor one is when the key goes into the lock cylinder, cursor two is key on.

Did some unplugged testing, too. Same signals, same colors. Cursor one is with the sensor ring unplugged, cursor two is with it plugged in. Key on.

pretty sweet. actually seeing what goes on with the key in the ignition. the flow chart only has checking for continuity of the wires. etc I wish these flow charts would start putting scope waveforms in there diagnostics itd make it way quicker!! kia does sometimes. thanks tyler for getting these

This wave sign legit helped me diagnose my pats system. Unfortunately it is the pcm, but at least I know I'm not buying a new one for nothing. My Rx line is not getting any power and from the sign above it looks like it should have 12 v. It does not move at all in any key position, while the tx does act normally. I tested continuity of the rx cable between the pcm and the ring plug and the wire is good.
