2012 cadillac SRX intermitent no start (i suspect RF interference)
Customer complains this is happening since new. The car just died (no dash, no start) even worst in some specific parking areas (take more time to come back to life).
Sometimes when she push start button, a message is shown on dash "No command detected. Press brake pedal". Which makes me think is a brake switch/circuit issue?
Is this key a radio frequency emisor? How can I verify whether or not PCM is receiving key signal?
I have to clarify. Once the engine is off, she leaves the car for a while and she wants to start it again, the ghosts appear (not while running).
Sometimes is completely death (i need to verify if lights and horn also) and sometimes the message appears on the dash.
So sometimes could be brake input or start button or key itself. Actually, i need to find a pattern. I also need to figure out if PCM is receiving key signal.
