Help on getting a clue on these Pico scans 4Runner 1995 Sec, Ignition
I get the attached waveforms with my Pico 2005A and cannot make anything of them.Could someone help or point on a direction?I manage to set the HT-25 setup but no sure if correct on the ratio, I used 1x10,000 (I think)Car runs better now that I discover the E1 at the ECU was not getting ground, and according to the Schematic is hardwired to ground.I will check the other hard grounds as I can figure out the terminals, but now I cannot understand with these secondary Ignition waveforms I got with the HT-25 Ignition probe on channel 1. They were taken between the coil and the distributor. Please help or point where I can learn that.Files attachedThanks
Your timebase, or H/div, looks like it's set on two microseconds which is way too short. Bump it up to 10 mS/div. Then you should be able to see some firing events on the screen so you can set up your vertical scaling and trigger.
