2012 Kia Soul 1.6 intermittent no start after driving for about an hour. Crack and sound like it starts but does not. Sounds like when it has no fuel. No codes store. The funny thing is when it does not want to start, I floor the gas pedal and it turn on normal. I try to duplicate the problem by shutting the engine off and on but turn on instantly like if there is no problem. I let the car sit for a hour and again it does not start unless I floor the gas pedal to the floor. Any help will be appreciated

On most car push the throttle to the floor when cranking puts it into clear flood mode based on this I suspect there might be fuel leaking into the inlet manifold when the engine is off.

Check fuel pressure with koeo after priming and see if it drops in ten minutes. If it does check Fuel pressure regulator vacuum port for wetness then use a hand vac pump to test if it holds vacuum, if its ok then check for leaking injector. If no leak down in fuel pressure check tps for glitches or drop outs while pressing slowly down and letting off of gas pedal with a dmm.
