Hello all, I badly need some help, I just worked on the above car where I changed the piston rings, head gasket and other gaskets on the engine following a compression test which improved greatly on the wet compression test. I have assembled the car and now the car will crank up but will not start. Can someone please help?

Are injectors and spark plugs firing?

Those engines have a CKP sensor and toothed wheel in the flywheel. If that sensor is not working all the system doesn't react.

Can you also check timming with scope?

Hello there i checked the ignition coils n spark plugs by removing them and using a jumper cable to connect spark plug to ground cable and when cranking, i see sparks on the plugs. Did that for all 4 ignition coils amd they are all good. Checked the crankshaft position sensor (3 wires) and the camshaft position sensor (3 wires) for ground and power and they are all good.
I have a second nissan micra and swaped those 2 above mentioned sensors to the other car and they work perfectly coz the other car started up without any problems.
What can i do more now?

So you have spark, which means ckp seems to be ok and synchronizing spark and fuel (i am supposing injectors are firing also).

I would check if engine starts with starting fluid or propane.

I would also check for timing. Do you have scope? One trace on ckp and other on spark plug control wire cylinder 1/4.
