Hi, I have Picoscope 2005A and need to set up to get a handle on what is happening, 4Runner 1995 2X 3VZE A/T
Runs Horrible after a total death of engine on the way home a few days ago.
I check for grounds and the Youtube and everything seems well. It starts easily if I get a cable with +B12 directly to the Ignition Coil+ side and if the battery (new) is fully charge.
Suspecting the Reference voltage or one of spark components is failing.
I am still learning the Scope. but I think I can handle ans set up parameters even mine is not an auto scope. Is the only I can afford and I understand if I good on setup with the probes I will fry it. I take lots of time to first explore volts to test by using way up reduction probes first until I can see max levels.

Specifically I would like to know how does the igniter interfaces with the ECU and the COil in detail, so if someone point in that direction will be much appreciated. I am a DIY person, working on a neighbor's car that I do not fix will have to junk it.

A pointing to terminal number as per attached schematic would allow me to get the probes in the correct place and set up for the proper max level.
All I learn is just by google searching and not easy to be on my own.
Any other suggestion on how to solve the problem, welcome

Thanks
It has:
New HV cables/ plugs
Distributor
Igniter(used, no change with old one)
No codes now but used to give 12 not NE Signal and 14 no firing confirmation signal from the igniter.
New battery and re-man Alternator
