hi im new my name is burt from upstate ny, i replaced ecu after i kept getting same code no matter what i did, now car will not start,
if someone know what would keep my car from starting after i changed my ecu i purchased 2 different dealers plug and play ecu from ecu programmers and my immobilizer still blinks after placing original keys in after following instructions like shorting the two pins at the obd2 port , tried that also with a junk yard exact model ecu.

toyota not starting after installing plug and play ecu swap

First off never short terminals at obd port....

Secondly there is a procedure to follow to program the anti theft/Keys.
www.eautorepair.net this is the mitchell diy site for less than 30 bucks you will have access to the procedure you need listed under ignition switch relearn/anti theft
