Good day all!
I'm battling a persistent P1000 on a 2012 Ford Escape Hybrid with 158,000.
Despite several drive cycle runs, the O2 sensor monitors will not complete.
During one of the six runs, a PCM Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) DTC P06B8 was stored.
This prompted me to replace the PCM with a pre-programmed unit.
Several drives later, the O2 sensor monitors are still yet to complete.
I even parked the truck in an air conditioned garage to set the start-up ECT as low as I can get it (overnight summer temperatures are in the 70's)
Up until now my parts replacement has been evidence based.
I do have a upstream A/F sensor whose harness is zip tied to hard lines in the engine bay in a bid to keep it from dangling around but the harness didn't appear compromised.
I'm unfamiliar with the marque and don't know if I've got an OE part installed.
I'm hesitant to put an OE part in.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your time!
