So have been working on a buddies 2003 Mazda 6 2.3L.Car will not stay running. Cranks and turns on for a second then dies. The camshaft sensor was replaced by my buddy after parts store informed him also the throttle body was replaced. Noticed 2.5 volts in signal wire. Also noticed 2.2 on ground wire. When mass airflow and throttle body unplugged. The car starts on 2nd try and stays on idle high of course obviously because its in on default mode. Pulled valve cover checked timing on camshafts with #1 @ top dead center and timing kit bar. And they line up and crankshaft tooth with white mark on it lines up at center of crankshaft position sensor
I can not get bolt in timing kit to fit in due to cv axle in way. The wave form on scope for camshaft does not have a square wave form look to it. Any pointers to this would be appreciated.
