P0304 2017 kia forte

I was reading online and saw 2 mechanics discussing a p0304 on a 2017 kia forte. My car is Exactly the same and is having the same problem. But in the reading, i was unable to see a fix. I've changed spark plugs, fuel injectors, swapped coil packs. Just took it to have it diagnosed at the shop and their as dumbfounded as me. Please help!

Have you checked compression on the cylinder with a misfire?

Yes. It's consistent across all 4 cylinders. Doing a cold smoke tomorrow morning.

Describe the conditions under wfhich the misfire occurs. At idle, under load, cold , hot, intermittent or permanent. ....Please provide some data like fuel trims,freeze frame and any other codes etc.

If this has a gdi system you might have carbon on the back of the intake valve on cylinder 4

It's intermittent acne the only code is p0304. It's currently being diagnosed at a shop and they're going through forms as well. I've done spark plugs swaps coil pack swaps injectors swaps it did a compression reading yesterday everything is good across the cylinders. In the morning they're doing a cold smoke so I'm dropping my car off tonight. If you have any ideas as to what it could be I'd be greatly appreciative. I drive for Uber and can't drive right now so I'm hurting pretty bad. She it's a 6 speed manual. No gdi

No gdi or vvt.

Cold smoke done on intake manifold and no leaks. So now I'm stuck. Please help

There is a software update to correct this issue. I attached the TSB, Please read.

The dealership performed that update last week and it was a Band-Aid for about 5 minutes. I've now got it at an import shop. They're going to take a look at it this will be the third diagnostic from a different shop.

Have you pressure tested the cooling system and checked for coolant in the cylinder? Pressure test it take plug out let it sit for an hr or so look down cylinder

this car should be under warranty. If the dealer just did this update, why did you not take it back??

also, with the scan tool with is the programmed part number for the ECM and the rom id?? can you post a pic of the ECM info from your scan tool??

Edit.. there is also a TSB out for RFI coils and the coils themselves. attached, read and follow.
