Hello,

Checked with smoke machine but clould not found any smoke trace.
Noticed fuel vapor odor around the filler while runing the test so replaced the fuel cap but MIL was on again after 2 days.

Any advice?
Thanks,
Dan

Thanks man!
I don't have the essential tool but anyway, there is a leakage but even after one hour of inspection with smoke machine there is no smoke evidence.

The customer did not complaint about refueling issues, just MIL on.

Is there is any known issue with this car EVAP system?

Hello, I dont know of any evap. issues. Like updated sw to fix issues or anything like that. If you closed the fresh air vent valve, and there is no pressure drop, or flow from your smoke machine the customer most likely had a loose fuel cap at one point.
good job testing it, I would release the car.

note.. does your smoke machine have a pressure/vacuum gauge and a flow meter. or is it just a machine that produces smoke??

a flow meter and pressure gauge is the only true way to verify no leaks.

Smoke machine have pressure gauge and a flowmeter so there is surly a leakage since flowmeter is not dropping to zero but I cannot find from where, no smoke is coming for anywhere…
Vent valve is closed during check..
The smoke machine never failed my before….

I guess a need to invest more time to look for this illusive leak source.

If you have not already, I would check to make sure that the purge valve closes tightly every time. I like to turn them on and off several times and make sure they don't bleed vacuum.
I also like to use soap and water when my flow gauge shows there is definitely a leak but there is no smoke visible.
This usual reveals the leak for me.
I'm not very familiar with that car, but if there's any steel components on the sending unit or fuel tank I'll spray in that area with extra attention.
I also spray around the base of the fuel cap and any junctions in the EVAP lines.
