Am I supposed to have a supply voltage(KOEO) on bank 1 and bank 2 wires that come directly from the ECU?
These CMP create AC voltage.

I'm dealing with the same thing on an 08 mustang. These are VR sensors. They are supplied by a 12vdc + bias voltage. Or in some cases a - bias voltage or in some cases both. Some fords have a floating ground. If that is the case scope the + side and - side of the cmp sensor.

I have no voltage on the wires from the ECU And no waveform when cranking. Ground wires are good.

try setting up the scope yellow to dk green and black to gray/red on the other side of the sensor. Check out section 21 of the book on VR testing. A lot of good information there. Do you get a cmp signal from cmp sensor 2?

I'll be double dog damned. I did the same thing on a wheel speed sensor. A while back. Thanks. I have to wait till Monday now.

Thanks again. I'm watching the case study with the VRS case study right now. I kept searching CMP testing in the book. I know that the F150 has timing chain issues. I just couldn't figure how to get a waveform.
