a little bit of rough idle have a 2011 mini cooper 1.6

i have this mini that has code 28cc , 287d and 2870 the shop before did timming chain in it rechecked everything seems fine.looking for imput from someone that has worked allot on these.i check the cylinder with my scan tool and all cylinders note a miss fire .im thinking carbon build up on valves

is this the N14 motor installed??

the faults seem to indicate vanos problems...

did you check mechanical timing?? if so how??

also, I wonder if the bolt that bolts the vanos adjuster to the intake cam sprocket is tight?? should be 20 nm and a angle torque of 180 degrees.. wonder if its spinning??

its the n16 it has vanos intake and exhaust also the only code now is 287d c. the put anew timming chain in because of those codes.it idles rough at start up and clears up when it starts getting warm
