Check if you still have spark when it dies. Then check for injection pulse.
It does sound like possibly a blocked CAT, the engine runs for a while, builds up back pressure, then dies and after letting it stand for a while it loses that pressure enough for it to start and run for a few seconds again.
Removing an oxygen sensor and running it like that would confirm it.

Getting involved in discussions because I have a lot to learn still.

Thinking fuel pump is not getting power once the starter is released ?

Check what actually goes missing/cuts out when the engine stalls and move on from there.

Well
Ive narrowed some down . Problem is it isnt giving up codes. I am checking ignition switch , pump relay , and tomorrow I plan om lowering tank and going from there.
There is fuel at rail after it dies . Also there is spark. Not sure how much pressure is there .
Also am thinkig of putting in line pump on if i can somehow bypass the FDM
THANKS Joe

You should be able to read the MAF output with a volt meter but I don't think the MAF is the culprit.

Fuel at the rail isn't a good indicator but pressure is. Without teeing in a gauge a quick and dirty test try introducing propane or carb cleaner into intake as it tries to stall.

When you used the carb cleaner it started back up? If so, you've got some direction!

A word of caution starting fluid "Eezistart" is ether on a high compression gasoline engine it will cause the engine to diesel without any spark.
