No crank no start. was created by Jbradshaw1678
03 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Stared having problems starting. Parked it one day wouldn't start the next. Replaced the alternator, starter- used parts starter came from running car. New battery. Have found Scannerdanner on YouTube. Watched 3 videos on no crank no start. Would like help of diagnosing the actual problem instead of guessing from others and replacing. From the Pittsburgh surrounding area.

Tested fuses #8, #14, and #31 all checked good. Replaced battery terminals as well.

What are the symptoms?
What happens when you turn the key to the on position?
What happens when your turns the key to the start positions?

Does it even power up?
Does it even try to turn over?
Does anything anywhere click when you try to start it?

Is this a no crank no start, or is it something else?

pictures and video would greatly help

Does the RELAY "click" when the key is turned to the START position? If not, with the key in the START position, verify battery voltage at Pins 86 and 30. Also, verify a good GROUND on Pin 85, with the Gear shift in "PARK" or "NEUTRAL". With the Relay removed, supplying battery voltage to Pin 87 should crank the starter.
