sensor will have three wires... power, signal and ground. KOEO power wire will have 12v on a pull up design. Power can be from PCM or external source. Signal wire will have 0v.
On pulldown design, KOEO the power wire will have 5v and the signal wire will have 5v.

Thanks for the reply. I understand pull up and pull down. I just wanted to know if anyone knew which kind of circuit on this particular vehicle. I looked at pcm diagram internals and shows signal wire as pull up design. I just noticed it. Also shows hall supply as 5 volt. Most of the pull up designs I have seen were 12 volt feed. This one shows 5 volt ref 2 supply and being a pull up design. If you have a open or short in the signal wire hard to tell if pull up or pull down circuit. Someone shared with me awhile back the pcm internal symbol for pull up and pull down on the signal wire. I think it was on this site. I dug it up.
