01 impala 3.8l EGR codes was created by Sethrb00
2001 Chevy impala 3.8l. Has codes p0404,p0405,and p1404. Car has hesitation with light throttle. Need help please. Have freeze frame data avalible

well that first code was set at 0rpm so I'm thinking that has been set by a self check the PCM has done koeo before you've even started the engine. I'd be looking at the wiring to the egr, been a euro boy I don't know what sort of egr it will have on it but you can guarantee there will bewiring for a position sensor on the connector somewhere, and poss a main 12V feed and earth wire (probly a slightly thicker wires) and possibly a couple more for control of the valve. But hopefully someone can post some better info from experience with this engine.
