03 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Stared having problems starting. Parked it one day wouldn't start the next. Replaced the alternator, starter- used parts starter came from running car. Battery now drains unknown to me why. I think needs new battery as well when fixed. Have found Scannerdanner on YouTube. Watched 3 videos on no crank no start. Would like help of diagnosing the actual problem instead of guessing from others and replacing. From the Pittsburgh surrounding area.
Tested fuses #8, #14, and #31 all checked good. Replaced battery terminals as well.
Do you have any code errors. Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key to the on position.
With the no crank issue. Using your test light, check for power at the starter on the positive battery cable.
If power, again using your test light and with someone to help, check for power at the starter solenoid positive terminal (light green wire)while your helper turns the key to crank the engine.
If no power, check for power into the starter relay (red wire pin 30) If no power you have an open in that wire between fuse 8 and the relay.
If power, check for power on pin 86 of the relay. If no power you have an open between fuse 31 and pin 86 (Yellow/Red wire) That same wire branches to the transmission control module which is fused, not sure but that may be fuse 14.
If you have power into the starter relay at 86 and 30 but not out the relay is most likely bad.

Being wrong doesn't bother me, it's being right and not understanding why that does
