I'm trying to test the integrity of the driver on my vehicle, but my test light is lighting with the KOEO. This is a ground side switched circuit. Control wire is black/blue. I'm getting high volts on the control wire with the driver commanded ON. IAC connector unplugged, test light to B+, with the circuit OFF, according to page 13, my test light is not suppose to light and it is lighting. so my question, is the driver to my vehicle cooked? i saw 12v on the computer, so page 13 is telling me that i have a pcm driver problem. also, when i turned on the car, i did a bypass test, test light to ground, touched the control wire and the iac re-acted. i don't know why am seeing voltage on the control wire with the ignition key off.

by the way, i need some clarification with some terminology from the book, transistor off is key off engine off, right? and key on engine off means, key in the forward position with no current flow right?

Also, can you show me how do i test all power and grounds to the pcm before condemning it? thanks paul
