You would have to use a labscope. Or, eliminate the PWM aspect by manually powering it.

Use a volt meter. Check to make sure that voltage does not drop while under a load.

i have watched that video and its really good i doing all of scanner Dans courses now just didnt get to the pwm voltage drop testing as of yet . The reason i mentioned amp clamp is that i can check the circuit anywhere within the wiring makes it a bit easier . but i can check voltake before and after solenoid. And your right knowledge is power .
