Gear not engaging was created by Loney911

Volkswagen car gear is not engaging
First they took this car to garage due to noice coming from gearbox.
After service the gearbox
Only Problem is cannot engage any gear
And no DTCs are show in Launch X431
Now I have to attend this car to tackle the problem

Hi we really need more information to help, for a start what type of transmission, vehicle model, model year and engine type & size.

(Edit) I really don't think we can diagnose this over the internet, although your post lacks any details I suspect you may have a car with the 6 speed DSG DQ250 transmission I have seen different faults on these including failure of the DMF. (Dual Mass Flywheel) which could fit with what little information you have given.
