Any symptoms with the car running? If the green is the crank sensor that’s definitely not right. Maybe you weren’t making good contact back probing or piercing the wires. If you were I’d check the 5 volt ref and ground to it.

Scope aliasing can get you in trouble on these, depending on the time base and sample rate of the scope.
A recent youtube video shows this:
I think Cheryl may be onto something about your scope ground and lead contact as well.

loss of communication with pcm can be the main pcm ground. check the connection at the block, make sure its clean between block and eyelet.
0300 can be from the communication loss as that is random misfire.
fuel smell could be the fuel pump regulator. pull the vacuum line from regulator and check for fuel in line or at nipple of regulator. the will pull fuel into intake and give the fuel odor and misfire.

If those are your symptoms and you sure you got good scope connections at the crank sensor I’d say you are onto something with a waveform that’s looks that bad.

correct me if I'm wrong... the green is the cam and the orange is the crank. Green cam wave should be square. Orange crank should have four signals, picture indicates a misfire...

should have steady groups of four... this is a misfire... trims probably show a lean condition... check the air gap in the crank sensor. Sensor maybe came loose and is moving or has moved.
