fuel trims total -20 at idle intermittently, tested at the distributor with a spark tester tested good at 30kv strong blue spark, but nothing at 40kv.

That current waveform looks like an open plug wire.

For days now I've been trying remember what that giant tail on the current ramp is all about!
I know there's a video I could link in but I just can't seem to find the one...

Jerry,

We're you able to track down the issue?

I have a 2000 Quest with 128K miles with new plugs, wires, O2 sensor. MAF reading properly and it runs good.

I just can't get rid of the recurring P0306. I just changed injector #6 (it did test at 20 ohms) and still have the misfire code.

I was seeing negative -14 to -20 STFT at idle before the tuneup...and that didn't change with the new injector. Can't figure it out.

As Chad said open plug wire.
Secondary turn off oscillation. Coil buildup secondary voltage with no place to go due to open plug wire.
