If I may, seek your expertise with a similar dilemma on an 05 MB CLK500. It's experiencing a no start, with suction running when key is in the position 2. Which indicates there's no communication from the ECU and the vehicle.
This all started, after I hosed the leaves of the front windshield of the vehicle. The vehicle had started and ran fine, just night before that.
The fuses and relays are good. However, few of the relsys, showed discoloration on its prongs. Fuse #57 is drawing .30 at rest,which is somewhat normal.
The Sam module'd sockets, harnesse, fuses, relays, and the ECU harnesse and connections, were cleaned with crc cleaner. The ECU was removed and Inspected for corrosion from water and other liquids and tere wasn't any internal broken/detached parts within the ECU.
Hey Arjuna! Got a DVOM? Find the MAF sensor (at the rear of the intake, by the firewall), disconnect it and check all five pins for voltage, key on engine off. Post back with the voltage readings, please.
