transfer case control motor on 2002 ford ranger 3.0 L engine 4WD automatic
I am getting a P1867 code on this ford the four wheel drive isn't engaging I did all feeds and ground checks and brake pedal signal to control module tomorrow I plan to check control motor is it bi polarity control like a throttle body drive by wire? it only has two wires to motor shows no motor case ground on print . I checked the selector switch resistors at control module with DVOM got voltage drops as I moved through switch postions .it does have a 5Volt ref. but anyways anyone every use bi directional LED with 500 ohm resistor across motor control wires to check circuit operation ?or how do u test it ?
