SMART forfour crank but won't start
Problem history ( car was kept for a week and battery was dead
and remote was not working, so remote battery is replaced , car
Battery is replaced but won’t start)
Sign in dashboard ( key is displayed all the time. So car is crank but not
start)
No communication with key module and ecu
Can you Please help me to solve the problem
Need to program key or something else ?

never worked on one but i would say first thing is give us the year of the car. 2nd lets check all the fuses i prefer a test light or power probe for this. 3rd can you have com with other modules? 4th i would then check powers and grounds to the modules you cant communicate with maybe a power or ground is shared between those modules.
