Question: 1995 Toyota Celica 2.2l would it be different diagrams to the distributor if it’s a California and Federal vehicle? I’m trying to figure out if there’s any different.

The OE diagram on bbbind shows both information all in a single diagram.

Physically (looking at rockauto pics) the distributor cap looks different between the two. The 4 pin connector designations to the ECM are different. The California emissions variant has the ignition coil mounted somewhere in the engine compartment, whereas the federal one has it inside the distributor cap, hence the different cap shape.
