When this event occurs does it stop getting fuel? Have you tested it when the condition is actually happening?
We understand that the vehicle is getting fuel but when the problem actually occurs it might actually not be getting fuel. We have to assume you haven’t checked it during the time of fault. It’d be better to actually leave the fuel pressure gauge tested while the event of failure occurs.
Also have you checked any sensors for 5V ref when it is acting up?
Andy is asking because it changes the direction. Could be a whole list of things.

I was going to have some coffee and look at a diagram for you, but it looks like there's 2 engine options. It would also be helpful to know if it is California or Federal emissions.
