I haven’t yet. I’m burned out. I’ve been on this car all day. I’ll pick it tomorrow after church. I don’t want to keep you waiting. Thanks for everything. I’ll speak to you tomorrow buddy. Thanks again.

Still following along when I can. :)

1. signal wire

plugged = 3.98v
unplugged= 4.94v

This value stuck out to me. Does it change with the engine running? I ask because I was recently working on an '06 Caravan 3.8L for various issues, and happened to have a new EGR valve from another shop. The closed valve position voltage was closer to 4.2V.

I don't think that accounts for your code, but it might point towards a faulty potentiometer in the valve.

Tyler by the way, what’s the procedure for me to test all power and grounds if I ever have to condemn the pcm? Chapter 2 and 3 does not show this. Thanks

Yep, I recall that from one of your earlier threads. Were any of them OEM? Or from the dealer? Because aftermarket EGR valves, especially linear EGR valves like your design, are trash garbage.

No, unfortunately, all the valves have been aftermarket.

None from the dealers
All of them non- oem

As soon as my wife gets home from church I’ll be able to perform that ohms test that monde told me to do between the 5v ref and the signal wire.
