Been reading this thread. Interesting as I'm learning. I'm curious as to did the vehicle have any codes that sent you in the direction or replacing the parts you mentioned replacing initially?
IF you found they were bad that's good but what led to those bring deemed bad? Was it a guess, shot in the dark as sometime the parts cannon don't necessarily work.
Do you have a relay jumper where you put it between the relay and plug as you can take readings easily. I think Lisle Tools makes it.

Test leads to pin86 and battery ground I get .85ohms.
Is that too much resistance?
Also, should I have 12V on pin 87 when cranking?
