Toyota ac was created by Caritech
Have a 2005 Toyota Voxy/Noah/Esquire/Nav1 (2.0L 1azfse Direct injection) in the shop. It came in for a battery drain and no a.c. problem. Turned out the battery was bad so we got a new one and battery issue is solved but still no a.c.. I decided to put a scan tool on it and I'm losing communication intermittently.
Shops before tried an ecu, a.c. control assembly, compressor, pressure sensor and evaporator. I'm thinking the harness is damaged somewhere causing a communication issue between ecu and a.c. control. The ecu has to provide an rpm signal to the control unit but I saw no wire with the rpm signal and the 2 wires that do connect ecu to ac controls seem to be giving as n erratic signal.

NOTE: The attached are from the same engine not vehicle.

Is it safe to figure that the A/C compressor isn't moving any refrigerant? Thus, the complaint?

I've been trying to find a North American equivalent, not much luck :( I decided to go with an '05 Avalon, as it uses (hopefully ) a similar system:

The network wires are there, but then there's the TACO signal? That goes to a transistor in the instrument cluster, which is also shared with the ECU. TACO = Tachometer? Wouldn't surprise me if Toyota used this as the engine speed signal.

Sorry about attachments. We found that the integration relay had a burnt connector. Well keep you updated.

Sweet, nice find sir! Here's hoping fixing that pin will get this one cooling.

Side note, I wish there was a good source of wiring diagrams for Euro and Asian makes that aren't sold in the US :( If anyone has a suggestion (that isn't terribly expensive), I'm listening!
