I have a 03 Nissan Sentra. I checked the compression on all cylinders but they are too low. Can you please tell me what could cause this?

Which engine is in your Sentra, specifically?
Unfortunately, there's a TON of causes for uniformally low compression. Intake restriction, valve timing, fuel washed cylinders, smoked head gasket, just to name a few. Posting your compression readings would give us a better idea of what's going on.
What brought you to start testing compression? No start, rough running?

My compression reading are around 50 to 60 psi in all cylinders.

How many miles/km has your car?
Is the car running fine? Any power issue?
Do you have a normal crank? Is the battery fully charged?
It's better you describe every detail you have.

Compression tests need to be done with wide open throttle, as the compressions are even across the cylinders if the car is starting running normally with no excessive oil consumption unless you have a specific reason to suspect an issue you probably have nothing to be concerned about.
