2016 explorer 3.5L loss after warm service wrench icon comes on and experience power loss
Vehicle came in with p0222 and p2135
checked throttle body and pedal both performed good but after vehicle gets to operating temp has power loss. If you go harder on the throttle she keeps going no problem.
i tested the 5v ref on the throttle body and only when the the symptoms anre showing it will fluctuate between 4.7-5 any other time its a constant 5v
i found a piece of open wire loom that felt hot to the touch because it was touching the fuel line and valve cover so i wrapped it with rubber hose to insulate after inspection non of the wires were open or chafed.
it semes to delay the failure response because it now takes me a lot longer to get it to trigger but its still coming back. Any thoughts on aditional testing i could do or has anyone delt with similar fault?
