I am diagnosing a crank no start, checked DTC's and only found evap and brake switch code, I then went to check scan tool data and noticed engine was cranking at 200 rpms, i thought that was low, id try to give it gas and it would try to run but barely. I checked the spark plug wire for spark which was there, I checked for fuel coming to the to rail it was present, although i did not put a fuel gauge on it. I tried to use starter fluid and vehicle still wouldn't t run.  I am aware of crank sensors being faulty and bad rpms on start up could indicate that. I made sure there was power and ground to the CKP and CMP plug before i replaced the sensors supplied by the customer but still no fix. Engines sounds like it turning over faster than normal, customer did state timing belt was done few months ago so I didn't think of leaning towards timing or anything mechanical but now I want to run a compression test to verify mechanical integrity and go from there. I will also check the spark plugs while there out. I am looking for feedback if this is the right direction to go.

Yes. Pulling the plugs to see if they are fuel-fouled and a compression check would be a good direction to go. If the spark plugs are wet with fuel, dry them off and try to blow out any fuel that may be in the cylinder. Then, squirt a bit of oil into each cylinder. Disable fuel and crank the engine with the spark plugs removed. Be prepared for some oil to shoot out of the spark plug holes. Re-install the spark plugs and re-enable the fuel. Try starting, again.

The compression test did confirm the vehicle either jumped timing or rings worn out. Diagnose complete vehicle needs a motor. Thank you
