Hi Paul  Hope you and your family are well? I was wondering what your thoughts or knowledge dealing with innovas 5610 scanners are for retired and now a backyard mechanic. I still do mechanic work on a small scale.

Hey Monty,
Hope you don't mind me chiming in here. I tell anyone who will listen to buy buy the Top Scan by Topdon.
It's right around $100, links to your phone or tablet with an app and does everything my Verus Edge will do. Anything else just seems like a waste of money in comparison as far as I am concerned. You will need to download coverage for each manufacturer you work on in the app individually, but there is not an extra cost to do so.
The tool comes with a one year license then will cost $100 a year after that. Still super cheap considering Snap On gets $80 a month to keep my Verus up to date.
